Kyaan ID exists to share the contact details you choose to share — nothing more. This page explains what we store and why, in plain language.

What we store

Your account: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in readable form.

Your cards: the details you type into a card (name, role, contact details, links). Cards are public at their link while active — that is their purpose. Pausing a card takes it offline immediately.

Card analytics: when someone opens a card we record the arrival source (QR, NFC, or link), coarse location (country and city derived from the network), device type, and referrer. We do not set tracking cookies on visitors, and we do not record precise locations or IP addresses.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell data, run ads, or share your information with third parties beyond the infrastructure that hosts the service (Vercel for hosting, Neon for the database).

Your control

You can edit or delete any card at any time; deleting a card permanently removes its analytics. To delete your account and everything in it, email us and we’ll take care of it.
